Helmut Baurecht founded the cosmetic label ARTDECO in 1985, inspired by a love of beauty, an innovative concept and a great vision. With the idea of offering high-quality cosmetics at an affordable price, he wanted to make beauty accessible to all women and create unparalleled products. The cornerstone of our success story was laid.

We have been the clear market leader in the German cosmetic sector for almost 15 years. Women in 78 countries worldwide appreciate our luxurious cosmetics. Until now, we have been a family-run company headquartered in Karlsfeld near Munich. We're proud of that.
