In 2006 Designer Kara Lusardi teamed with Los Angeles based clothing company Genexus, and started a small contemporary tee-shirt line based on great fit, long lengths and color. Today Bobi is a Worldwide popular Contemporary Collection of dresses, tunics,and tees which is also a favorite of many celebrities, such as Nicole Richie, Madonna, Hilary Swank, Giuliana Rancic, Kim Kardashian and Sophie Monk to name a few. Bobi can be found in department stores and the hippest boutiques all over the globe.

Bobi is for all women, of all shapes and style. It can be dressed up or down, worn multiple ways and makes everyone look and feel their best. The styling is hip and trendy with subtle details that make you stand out.


"Why bobi has worked so well and continues to grow is based on affordability, high end cuts, unique styling and the ultra slimming effect, which has kept the customers coming back for more, allowing us to further expand the line. The basic styles that put bobi on the map still remain the core of the line, while we have branched out to dresses, gowns, outerwear, etc. Bobi's fabrics are soft unique jerseys, fine tee-shirt materials to be more clear. That is all I ever want to wear , I hate tight constricting clothing. I cut the styles to play up the areas of the body that most women want to- and play down (hide) the areas that we don't feel as confident about. Bobi fits are cool, chic and trendy as well as slimming and elongating. As the demand grew, I pushed the envelope further each season. Now you can spot the hottest celebrities wearing bobi gowns on red carpets, to more casual events. Who doesn't want to look great and be comfortable? What makes bobi different then most high end tee shirt lines is the variation of styles. There are styles ranging from Gothic to Sporty, Cuddly to Beachy. Some of the most popular styles are the tunics, which can be worn with leggings, over a bathing suit or as a dress (most styles have multiple uses). After washing bobi- it always regains its natural shape, and can stay like new for years. It is great for traveling, packs up small in your suitcase and wrinkles disappear when hanging up. Personally my taste in clothing has always been bohemian as well as sophisticated, which is the all over vibe of the line. Each season I create a new theme and design the styles, fabric and colors around it; which always gives the collection a fresh, new and forward feel. I am a New Yorker who now lives in LA, so I understand the needs, and likes of the different coasts.
