What’s great about holidays is that we can do whatever we like, and your little rascals could spend the summer months climbing mountains, splashing in the water, running in the fields or laughing with their friends in the back yard. In any case, l’asticot has a total look for whatever the situation.

The Swiss brand with fun prints has expanded its summer range by introducing two new trends for spring/summer 2013: more classic and refined cotton knitwear, and a range of more trendy and bohemian fine jersey marled. Between funky prints, punchy velours, vintage jerseys, summer canvas or chic knitwear, every little rascal will find a look that’s perfect for them.

THE FABRICS AND STYLES

L’asticot means, above all, comfortable cuts and the softness of 100% natural organic materials. This season, for the first time, organic cotton has been launched in a thin and mottled version, like a veil on the skin, or a knitted version for a chic, retro and irresistible look. A new light gray, recycled fabric, made from a mix of cotton and recycled hemp, brings a freshness to the contrasting dark denim, while printed jerseys are enhanced by the bright colours of the velour.

Every little rascal can now choose a style. For peak climbers, a jersey t-shirt, canvas pants and a knitted cardigan will do the trick; for sand castle builders, jersey rompers, shorts and reversible sun hats will be the perfect equipment; for field mice, canvas overalls and the new Gavroche cap complete the look; and for the city rascals, a vintage jersey top and shorts and you’re ready go and run around!

ALWAYS SOMETHING NEW
Each season, l’asticot refines its collection by offering something completely new. Created exclusively by l’asticot, its materials reinforce the identity of the brand with every collection: this summer, vintage bikes enter the prints range next to two-tone dots and salmon that are very popular with girls. 1 and 3 month sizes have been introduced to swaddle newborns from day one. For the first time this season little ones also get t-shirts in baby sizes (0-24 months) and a new baby romper is cleverly fitted with integrated booties to cover their tiny feet. To pack everything, l’asticot offers an illustrated gift box ready to be coloured and re-used as a box to hide secret items.

Not to mention the brand-specific characteristics such as double rows of snaps on bodysuits and overalls that allow the clothes to grow with the rascals, pants with reinforced knees, elastic waistbands on pants and shorts (no buttons or zippers) to allow for easy dressing, and reversible hats and headbands.
