Set in the Medieval town of Montegranaro, Le Marche , this artisanal laboratory of shoemaking and leather craft has evolved and grown to become a global acclaimed centre of excellence for high quality shoemaking and innovative leather techniques.

Duca Del Nord , the workshop , the artisanal heartbeat of Officine Creative was conceived in 1968 with the romantic vision of young Italian shoemaker Nazzareno Di Rosa. The journey begins as young Nazzareno sets out to produce some truly innovative creations during this ‘Golden Era Italian shoemaking.

Through the 70’s / 80’s Nazzareno fine tunes his shoemaking skills and material knowledge to produce unique collections that quickly found immediate International commercial success and paved the way for the current incarnation and ethos of the modern factory.

The DNA of Officine Creative can be traced back to this early period …

Unbound by convention and driven by innovation , this uniquely Italian know how of shoemaking and leather craft is carefully overseen by a trusted collective of passionate craftspeople within the Duca Del Nord workshop.These time honoured skills and knowledge are a unique expression of Italian creativity and regard for fine quality.

Connecting the traditional with the future … the Duca Del Nord artisanal laboratory is called upon today by many a prestigious International fashion house to conceive and produce collections to a very high standard, adding a distinctive signature aesthetic that only the Duca Del Nord workshop can achieve.

The factory is proudly situated on the original site but through constant modernisation and expansion the operation has grown to embrace the ever changing demands of the modern world.
With eldest son Roberto Di Rosa now at the helm , the workshop employs around 50 carefully selected people to call on the meticulous skilled ‘labour of love’ needed to produce these unique creations.

Now with over 4 decades of constant reinvention and investment the Di Rosa family is ever intent on pushing this modern Atelier into the 21st Century and beyond.
