Y/PROJECT
Y/PROJECT appeals to individuals who have a strong eye for detail and an appreciation for artisanal craftsmanship. Known for its distinctive cuts and leather treatments, the collections propose a complete silhouette ranging from leather coats, tailored jackets + pants and accessories that embody an emotional atmosphere, inner strength and rugged masculinity adapted to an urban lifestyle.
Launched in 2010 by Yohan Serfaty and Gilles Elalouf, two friends united in their desire to create an authentic, avant-garde wardrobe for men. Based on Yohan’s continuous experimentations working on different materials, especially leather, and the development of new volumes, each collection focused from the start on creating timeless pieces.
Continuing the brand’s heritage, in 2013 Belgian designer Glenn Martens is named Creative Director. Former first assistant to original designer Yohan Serfaty, Glenn has been part of the label’s DNA since it’s early years. While remaining faithful to the label’s codes, a new vision is developed mixing innovative tailoring techniques, easy sportive elegance with an avant-garde spirit.
Y/PROJECT’s presence has rapidly expanded and is currently sold worldwide in 30 highly selective, multi-brand concept stores like Lift – Tokyo, Antonioli - Milan, Darklands - Berlin, Stijl - Brussels, Chegini – Vienna, SV - Moscow, Layers, The Library - London, H. Lorenzo - Los Angeles...
The AW14 season Y/PROJECT continues the brand’s evolution with the launch of the womenswear capsule collection that will be presented alongside the menswear line during Paris Fashion Week.
