Since 1992 there's at least one thing that unites the Rhenish cities Cologne and Düsseldorf: the Italian sense of style. In the timeless, elegant atmosphere of the multi-label store IDENTITÀ ITALIANA, fashion lovers find their own fashionable identity. For more than 15 years Vito Santoro and Isabel Brodt have excelled at providing fashion and accessories by European and American premium labels for ladies and gentlemen (women and men). And the show goes on....

Adieu tristesse: This was the revolutionary idea by Isabel Brodt and Vito Santoro at the beginning of the 90s. It was the era of black & grey - not a trend to be endorsed by the colorful Isabel. In 1992, she opened her first own store with her business partner Vito on the hip "Friesenwall" street in Cologne. The name: IDENTITÀ ITALIANA. Bye-bye boring fashion uniformity, hello personal identity!

With an Italian sense of style and the first hot Italian labels, the concept worked out pretty well: IDENTITÀ ITALIANA was in the right place at the right time. Just four years later, in 1996, the Cologne based store got its little, big sister: In the heart of Düsseldorf's oldtown, directly located at one of the most beautiful farmer markets „Carlsplatz“, the first Düsseldorf store opened doors to more than 300 square meters.

15 years later and IDENTITÀ ITALIANA is still hitting a nerve with its unique concept and the two stores in Cologne and Düsseldorf: The carefully selected mix of fashion, accessories and shoes is the ideal feel-good package for the fashion conscious customer, male or female. Lifestyle products make IDENTITÀ ITALIANA's assortment just perfect. Italian brands are complemented with European and American labels. But still the own, personal identity is at the centre of everything.

In the clean, puristic and elegant interior you will find international premium labels such as Woolrich, Blauer, Mackintosh, Boglioli, Stone Island, C.P. Company, Adriano Goldschmied, PRPS and many more. Customers love to spend time trying on the beautiful clothes - and love to dress up or to get dressed by the friendly service staff.

Ladies adore the Athé Line by designer Vanessa Bruno, the exotic ready-to-wear dresses by Missoni or the Italian premium collections by 8 PM, Patrizia Pepe or Philosophy by Alberta Ferretti. Brands such as MARNI, Levis XX and Levis Made & Crafted are exclusively available in Düsseldorf und Köln at IDENTITÀ ITALIANA.

Particularly men like the cool heritage denim jeans by Levis Made & Crafted or the hip & trendy parkas and field jackets by Italian label Ten C. Rugged leather accessories by Riccardo Forconi and HTC, further scarfs and shawls by Faliero Sarti are the perfect gift for "him". High-quality shoes for ladies and gentlemen by Alberto Fermani, Moma, Fiorentini+Baker, Mexicana, Sartori Gold, Leather Crown or Pura Lopez, bags and jewellery are the cherry on the Italian cake.

A special feature is the in-house free alteration tailoring service. A professional tailor assists straightaway in the store - and creates a perfect fit and a new favorite piece at the same time. The customers appreciate IDENTITÀ ITALIANA's selection, timeliness, fashion competency and the service. Amongst the customers are several actors, sportspeople, models and stylists. In recents years lots of nationally and internationally renowned clients such as Cher, Cindy Crawford, Madonna, Tina Turner, Usher, Heidi Klum found a piece of their very own Italian identity at IDENTITÀ ITALIANA.
